Ever Green
i cannot tell you am sure
my days are not of awe
i spend it in my hidden tree
with leaves and roots of fading dreams
yet so ever green...
you am still unsure of
doubts i know are tough
but change the hue of my atmosphere my dear
from green to humble, stainless and rare
yet so ever green...
when my hope rises high
your lying lips deny
for every hurt and pain you strain
my tears you will not claim
ever green my days remain..
i am stronger after every bite
i will continue my humble plight
but when your teeth is sunk deep, to drive my heart insane
don't blame me if i part this lane
and embrace my green again...
thoughts of happiness we might chase
to change the mystery of this place
but where i am i still remain
this place so ever green and the same
anywhere with you i will go
to make this right even in the cold
but when the days become ours to mold
remind me to say i was told
as we embrace the green i sold...
yet so ever green...
