Ever Faithful God
Almighty Builder, compassion-drawn, ever faithful God*
verily deserves our earnest praise of thanksgiving bliss
while we worship Him in spirit and in truth souls can’t miss
midst sweet fellowship He offers around forgiveness bond.
Heaven-inviting, jubilant kind Lord, miraculous
indeed bestows bountifully grace and mercy delight
assuring answers to believers’ fervent prayer plight
expressed by faith, trusting Him as the Source, meeting all needs.
Nourishing our patient quietude, Redeemer Saviour
definitely strengthens devotional communion time
granting good desires ringing out triumphant service chime
marked with love, conquering human nature’s vain arrogance.
*Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
