Ever Changing Mind

The wind sweeps my soft soul away A prayer and a kiss couldn’t prepare me to stay. My silence impedes so loudly, with no end. A lifetime of making amends could be my only friend. A fault and a flaw are the results of my ever changing mind, To live sensibly, leaving my troublesome wits behind. I will pick the scarlet roses in the garden at sunrise, Bury them in my soul while the coldness in me dies

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Lord's blessings be with you.
