Ever After
There should be no force of laughter
in this so called happy ever after
There should be answers to my questions
You speak as if you're teaching lessons
Only tears fall, nothing is learned
Receiving your love as if it should be earned
A person going through a tough time
Just trying to fix her problems through rhyme
This is so incomplete, like pants without pockets
and better yet, hearts without lockets
You tread across my floor perfectly
I almost convince myself you're too good for me
Than I go back to all the things you've done
I just want to fall back to the only one
The only one who actually understood
Would I turn away, even if I could?
