Ever

The past stretches back to a certain start
While the future extends to a dubious conclusion
This present moment is constantly torn apart
By the ravenous maw of time's diffusion

The past isn't here
and the future doesn't yet exist
The present isn't very clear
yet we all still persist

Past, Present, and Future are all just tenses
We only survive on the cusp of now
Surfing on a wave of momentary existence
Making sometime work somehow
