Evening Lure Awhile

Awash with fire tinted shade,
indigo a shrill magnet,
serene usher I extol,
as fool’s gold sky slinked

blue hue phase swift facile flit,
dust and gas spark burnt red lit,
magenta my bosom fair,
hue’d lithe peck, dusk flare

Howard, this is a wonderful poem that primarily explores themes of transformation and the beauty of the natural world as it transitions between day and night, with evocative imagery of the sky that highlights the interplay of colors at dusk.
