Even Though You Wanted a Boy

I've been struggling with what I'm going to say
I don't know what the right thing is to do
And even though it was kind of a happy/sad day
You well know The Lord will always come through
Congrats on your baby, I'm happy for you
And have been so since I first heard the news
She will be beautiful, pure, perfect, and new
Looking at you gives us that many clues
I know things play out to what we never expect
It's a lesson we all had to learn
Where will life take you? What step is next?
It's not based on what we can earn
You never know who you will need in your life
You never know on which land you will trod
But one thing's for certain, no matter the strife
You are carrying a child of God

There is so much truth to this one........sometimes we ourselves do not know the reason for the "plan"....
