The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Even Still

I know theres no denying
we're better off apart.
But no amount of tears
can wash you from my heart.

I still think of you every night,
and pray you're doing well.
And I still cry myself to sleep
remembering how hard we fell.

And I still remember how we'd laugh
and how you'd cuddle me so close.
Its all the happy memories
that seem to hurt the most.

And sometimes in my dreams
I see your smiling face.
So real I could have kissed you
but my dreams have gone to waste.

You'll always be a part of me,
but all you want is to forget...
But if theres anything you carry with you,
let it be the night we met.
