Even Happy Ever Afters End
Memories turn to stories with time
And even happy ever afters end
Moments sift through our fingers
and dissipate devouring our lives
A tear so soft and pliable grasps the smile, the loss and the heartbreak
Pain imprisoned in a spherical salt cell
falls earthbound
and dies
