Even Death

Heat waves been rising in my heart
Not sure how or when it started
clinging despair and sad memories departed
Leaving nothing but blind hope
Waking up next to you, i'm finally home

A new place, a new time
Somehow everything turns out fine
I guess it's true, that old time line
After the darkness, your Brightness shines

Feeling a buzz without my poison cup
On the platform in mornin', going up
I'll do what I have to, I'll get it done
Nothing else has made me feel this Loved

A new place, a new time
Somehow everything turns out fine
I guess it's true, that old time line
After the darkness, your Brightness shines

The Past came to visit me again
Standing warmly at the foot of my bed
Ushering me to move on and not regret
what was done and what was said
I know deep within my heart
Love will never truly be dead
So Onwards and upwards
Even death is not the End
