Even As

Even as the anger, Courses violently through my veins, Painting my cheeks a crimson red... And even as the words, Escape unwillingly from my lips, Uttering how much hate my heart holds... And even as the hate, Etches itself permanently in my heart, Always leaving a painful reminder of words left unsaid... Even as I let myself fell the anger and hate, All of this is really just my way, Of telling you how much I care... Even if you let what you feel, Slip away.
