Even Angels Cry
even angels cry
giant crimson tears
holding all the dreams and fears
of an angel of untold years
his entire soul captured
in a few fallen tears
even angels cry
his tears fall to the ground
in a god forsaken land that was never found
except by demons who gather round
as the angel's tears soften
the forgotten ground
even angels cry
his rain of tears will never end
and on the final days god will send
his angel's flaming tears that will come to mend
men's tortured souls that cry out
for the end
even angels cry
