Eve

"She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man." What shall we make of Genesis 2: 23b As it is written, it seems preposterous to me. Time has proven quite the opposite is true Despite how accepted the literalist point of view. Midwives and OB-GYNs throughout our history's span Have never brought a woman from the womb of a man. Exactly! That it is said by a man makes it even better.

Hello. I would like to thank you for your comment on my, cough, "poem"; if you hadn't commented I would have never found YOUR wonderful poems. Truly a pleasure to read. As is this gem of art; "Eve". It reminds me of a paraphrased woman's lib comment: Eve says to Adam that she didn't come from his rib, but he surely came out of a vagina. Please don't take me as a vulgar woman, I'm running a poetic experiment; testing & tasting the broth of this soup. YOUR menu looks absolutely delicious. Thank you.

Comment #2 I think what is written is more poetry! 'Pablum for children' is less preposterous when you consider that almost half of all Americans voted for Trump. Does one tell a child when they ask, "Why is the sky blue?" about the diffraction of light (and God created diffraction) from the get-go? Or do you say, "God made it so and make it so in such a wonderful way that we can understand why it happens!) I will answer your question better when you are more mature!)" :-)

Comment #1 Just wanted to inform you that you can easily delete accidental extra copies of comments that are left on your poems if you want to (and any comment that you find offensive as well!) Evolution too has no real answer to the age-old question, "Which came first the chicken or the egg?" Ha! Men do have nipples and older men have been known to "express" milk. Is a penis just a reversed vagina? I love God's sense of humor! We are all "as**oles" for sure! QED (Sin's definition!)

Seems that it should be so, but this site has any number of frustrating glitches! "Delete" does not always work!
