Evaluate the Candidates By Franklin Price 2/16/2016 Evaluate the candidates Listen well to what they say While remembering when Congress works The country runs its way The chief executive is not the one Making laws to seal our fates Congress is where that is done The president administrates Of course there is the veto When the Pres does not agree That the bill that's passing o'er the desk Is not good for you and me Returning to the congress The bill can still be passed By overriding veto there Or by reaching states at last I could keep on keeping on Continue to hob and nob But I'll end and say, would not be here today, If congress had done its job
