Euphoric Ties

Loving him is like a cul-de-sac,
No escape, his beauty blinds my sight,
A radiant glow, fierce as hell's fire,
He knows how to soothe my temper's might.

Euphoria engulfs me in his embrace,
Like nothing else, his touch sets me free,
But oh, the Italian cuisine he adores,
Night after night, it fails to please me.

Not objecting, simply not aligned with my palate's longing.
He tries to please me with love's sweet power,
In this cul-de-sac of love, I reside,
With unbridled joy, navigating the twists and turns.
