Eulogy

I can never shut up
I can go for weeks without speaking
I know my loneliness is obvious
this is what my eulogy will say
 sung by bluebirds,
they'll complain about all of my bad analogies and metaphors
  Something about life and wings
How thats my favorite shade of blue, the color at dawn when the coolness sinks into your bones before the warm sun breaks it's spell
I imagined it to be my hour of death
That the dew would form across my skin and I'd glitter in the morning light like the world around me
The birds won't tell you that though
They'll tell you that Ive always talked to much, or not at all
That I knew my loneliness was obvious
That I never had wings
