Written for the contest  " i can move mountains" sponsored by anoucheka I wrote about my twin sister, that i can never imagine life without.

If sky is a sea of fallen flowers and dusty diamonds glazed in red, I’ll unfurl the saffron sun within, stretching sandalwood arms of serenity, upon gardens of glistening grief, with healing herbs and soothing spices, from greener grass of life amidst sorrow. For I can move mountains and secure trees, to a therapeutic realm where perfumed petals never wilt. While kindness I sow shall sprout in hues of warm honey and raspberry dreams. I am an unshakable rose, blooming from roots of ruins, facing fiery fangs of the phasing tulip moon above wildfires of whirling woes. This musky spirit is timeless, resembling the flaming heart of an untamable phoenix. My silence soars beyond mourning wolves; ice blue eyes of fleeting seasons. And you, twin-star~ my sister I cannot breathe without, will forever be the reason, I’ll wear this amethyst sequined armor, to sail through ripples of rage, like a floating candle amidst eclipsed tides, that shifts and sparkles, while flickering eucalyptus elixir~ upon scentless tea lights. So if tomorrow, clouds above your sleepless sanctuary swing with poisoned rain, to drizzle splinters upon your bed of melancholy, remember, I’ll find my way to your unrhymed spheres, steal perfectly metered syllables of hope, from the elysian above, that sprinkles champagne lunar-beams, and I’ll weave a curative poem beneath the ink-less canvas of acrylic dirt, to calm your midnight musings with mellifluous metaphors.

Dearest Ink Empress, Just wanted to drop a line to say your poem is out of this world! The imagery you created feels like diving into a surreal dreamscape. Seriously, "saffron sun" and "raspberry dreams" — pure magic! Your words are like a soothing balm on a rough day, pointing to hope into every verse. You've got a talent for crafting beauty out of melancholy. Keep shining bright like the twin-star you are! Good Luck! - Blessings, Daniel

It speaks volumes of your love. Did you grow up in a loving household or take care of each other often? I think about my own sisters and our relationship. There was no love available when we were growing up together. I love my sisters now, but not with the fervor and intensity you describe, which is remarkably strong and beautiful. It is a wonderful thing that I strive to recreate later in life, which is not an easy thing considering our childhood.

Awww what a lovely dedication to your twin sister, I bet she loved this one... this poem is breathtaking, painting a portrait of the speaker's steadfast strength and unwavering support amidst the tumultuous seas of life. From the opening lines, the comparison of the sky to a sea of fallen flowers and dusty diamonds imbues the scene with a sense of ethereal beauty and melancholic grace. great metaphors and adjectives!

Ahh!! So you really care for your twin. How much alike are you? Thanks for sharing this one with us. My son-in-law is one of triplets. One of the brothers got killed in a tornado a few years back. One of his brothers (my son-in-law) had to go in and identify his brother so his parents would not have to do that, and it was like seeing himself lying there. Your visit to my page was encouraging. Ah dear sara we are five mins apart and we used to switch classes in primary school too, and fool teachers, so we were and are identical twins. I cant even imagine the pain your son in law must have felt, sigh. Thank you for sharing and for your comment

Wow! This is absolutely breathtaking dedication poem to your twin sister my dearest poet friend Ink. I'm sure your sister is so happy to read this, and very grateful to have a sister and twin like you. I wasn't lucky to have a sister but may I borrow some of my friends here now? May I borrow sisters who're excellent poets, you and your twin? (smile). Thank you so much for sharing. Loving this masterpiece a lot. God bless you both and your writings always. Hugs

Ah yes, i read the poem to her before posting, she said she ddnt understand many lines lolol haha story of my life. She is a poet , lyricist, singer. But she is more if a rhymester and doesnt do metaphors. So we are different in personality, although identical and five mins apart, its in her to be straightforward, so that shows in her poetry too. Thank you so much for reading. Im grateful

a soul touching, exquisitely written poem about your love for your twin sister!! I could feel the closeness the two of you share as well as your concern for her as you ponder living life without her. Such a beautifully penned poem with perfect alliteration and outstanding imagery. I especially liked "your bed of melancholoy" & "I am an unshakable rose, blooming from roots of ruins, facing fiery fangs of the phasing tulip moon" Tulip moon--an extraordinary image. A very touching poem for your twin sister-I felt such deep love here, it made me heartsore. Only because I love my little sister too, 3 years younger than me, and while mentally tough, she seems so physically frail... I'm honestly afraid of losing her... You are "an unshakeable rose, blooming from roots of ruins- there is so much steadfast loyalty, protectiveness, nurturing thoughts of comfort and closeness. You spoke volumes to my heart and to many here who also feel strong bonds to each other
