Ethereal Vision
The curve of her smile challenged his heart
Eyes etched unspoken desires into his soul
Brunette hair romanced breeze and kissed the sun
Gentle stride caused the ground to humble her crust
Seduction blossomed into amour affaire de la nuit romantique
Luscious lips that sipped the nectar of his love
Warmth of her bosom melting his heart
Her aura invades his soul and mental space
Dexterous fingers keep teasing his needs
Body was smooth and tender rendering him to surrender
They lay in their arms, ecstasy spent
Drifted into an abyss of peaceful sleep
Half conscious in his blissful deep
Arms felt devoid of soothing warmth
Sensing emptiness that lay next to him
Agony of the fact set his fear on fire
No words exchanged in the din of the night
Just merged into the quiet of the dark
Couldn't understand why she left him so
Tears swell in his bloodied eyes
Painting a streak on his rugged cheek
Visions of her keeps flirting his thoughts
Tormenting him with silent sounds
Haunting streets in the gloom of the night
Searching the corridors of memory lanes
Romancing the places they loved to be
Woke up shuddering from his sleep
Sweltered and drenched in his sweat
Fragrance of abandoned mingled with dark
Ethereal Vision that spent the night in bed
Damned himself for awakening from his trance.
