Ethereal Anticipation
Dark’s lonely miracles
whisper within man’s heart
wherein confused emotions start.
Human reasonings depart
within eve’s hypnotic shackles
crafted of fate’s deceit, yet sweet art.
Dreams seem as cloaks
spun from skies spectrum desire,
but be it a devil or angel choir
humming for man to begin and aspire?
Be it hell’s joke or heaven’s stroke?
Night grins and rescinds this inquire.
Stars lullaby and mystify
every intimate, unspoken thought.
Night does comfort mortality’s clock,
does caress life’s answers sought.
Stars shine a joy our hearts amplify.
Awe dies misbegot if ethereal exist not.
