Now, that name is no more.
For we are that very name.

Life takes off once again,
And in an instant, lands right back down.

"We plant a democratic republic
Like planting a flag upon the moon,
We merely gaze up at its light."

A democratic republic?

In the name of the Lord,
Look upon the beings you caress!

As if wrapping rising pain
In fierce, violent hope,

In Your name,
It seems to fortify the earth.

Are you not ashamed?

The world, in such a way,

Slaughters us
Under the ideology of a democratic republic.

"I earned ten thousand won with my own blood and sweat."

Hugging a rare, jackpot-sized dream to my chest,
Clutching my swollen heart,
Holding the dream of a pretty doll for my little girl,

I place a dream-bet
In a rainbow-stained casino.

Only to be fired—
Not just of ten thousand won,
But my entire life, stripped and dismissed by the system!

A democratic republic?

Acting as if the castle walls are strong,
We seem to share sweet kisses there.

For a moment, we
Pay with counterfeit money
And live out counterfeit lives.

How sorrowful—
The moment those walls collapse,

Realizing that He is not on the right hand of the Lord,
But on the left,
And not on the left, but on the right.

"Neither side can ever choose us!"

Yet,

When a thousand-year-old thunder strikes,

Somewhere on one side,
My 'doppelgänger',

Having fulfilled dream after dream,
Lies cozy and at peace upon that distant shore.

"Honey! I love you!"
