Eternity: Patient, Precise

Symmetry of the clock,
near-symmetry of the calendar,
awkwardly near to the asymmetry
of captives who dutifully named them.
Sun, earth, moon, stars,
galaxies and clusters
and galaxies and clusters beyond,
and of them and within them
and aeons past them,
The Timekeepers. Calm and eternal.
Never to be seen or heard
and certainly never to be moved
by the irrational
and the self-destructive,
or by the rational
and the guardians of morality;
not flustered by the flux and madness
as far as we can divine.

It is amazing how everything is set in motion. All is as it should be. "certainly never to be moved by the irrational" I just love this thought, as it holds so much truth. This is deep and powerful. ~ Brandy

'... everything is set in motion...', quite right. It is as it is, and always will be, regardless of us. Thanks for stopping by, very pleased if you enjoyed.

Thanks so much, Vijay, that is about the most complimentary thing that I could possibly be told. Greatly valued, my friend.
