Eternity

Eternity
We lose the grip then begin to double dip
The heart is the fuel to add the fire with desire
A sought after plan with a remedy in mind
An excursion torn between the battle for good & evil
Some are being caught up right in the middle
Eternity my friend is a very long time we climb
A passive orientation to those who once could see yet now their blind
No one for certain sir wants to be left behind
With chains on our feet people dance to the beat
The heart is an opened door willing to explore
A simple time with simple tastes getting caught up as before
Nature beckons it's wallowing cry toward asunder
Shaken by the wind we so often will pretend
A free gift to those willing to accept it's message don't forget
We pass through this life only once without a second chance
One must be willing to take part in the dance
In long lines vested through a variation in a dream
People scream for attention within their ardent claims
A challenge to be free is a question of time
To think of this earthly bliss of a time well spent in thought
We clap our hands into the wind that can't be bought
As a tree grows it flows through a sorted peril
Climb to the highest ring on a ladder amidst the chatter
Look to the sun to help you get by never to a substance that will get you high
You have a choice with eternity either heaven or hell
There is a much better story in which to tell
