Eternity

We can't really know of heaven or hell
   Who goes where, no one returns to tell
Yet there's some of eternity I clearly see
   My deeds on this earth will live long after me

This subject is an eternal fascination - my dad visited me three day after he died - I had a dream of a huge sign on the highway which said 'tires skid', my uncle ran outside and checked my wheels on my car, they were all bald! Enjoyed this poem enormously. Blessings, Jennifer.

One can only hope that their good deeds forever live one...for some sadly it's their bad acts that are never forgotten ... I have had visits from some who passed on ...hugs

I have also had such (eerie) visits from a coupe of 'lost souls,' apparently doomed to eternally wander without rest... As for our 'bad acts,' I do think that most people are remembered for the good they do. Let us hope so, at any rate... Almost all reported NDE's tell of brilliant light flooding a long passageway, of angels/winged creatures, of tremendous warmth and LOVE,... but no one has come back from 'permanent residency' to speak of what that's like...
