Eternal Victim

Lonely shadows in my heart Filled with anger and pain There is no light left inside of me Only sadness and misery remain What have I done to deserve this I wonder to myself The way you scream And always hit me and yell At me for whatever is wrong In your life I am the victim Yet I am the one left holding the knife I can't comprehend how this happened But you got to me And now I have no confidence Only self-loathing and misery I feel myself drowning And floating away If only there were Something I could do or say But you are in control And that I know is true No matter what I try I can never break free of you
