Eternal Sunshine
Eternal sunshine,
will you be mine?
Euphoric melodies
sweeping through the trees.
Watch the sunrise,
fight you demise
with open eyes.
Live for the sunset,
when the night comes
don't let it upset.
Welcome warmth,
embody strength,
no longer torn
and finally reborn.
Let your emotions fly high,
give it your hardest try.
Don't let darkness get you down,
stand up
and fix your crown.
Eternal sunshine,
I claim you,
you're forever mine.
Because of you,
I smile now.
Looking up at the sky,
so beautifully blue,
it astounds.
Embody truth,
it will pull you through.
Seek wisdom,
seek freedom from pain,
there's nothing to lose
and everything to gain.
The heartache,
like a stain
in the window pane,
it seeps into your soul,
when all you want is to be whole.
No longer empty,
no longer alone,
climb back atop your throne.
Remember you're worth it,
fight for it.
Eternal sunshine,
I've retrieved you
and escaped from a life of sin.
You are the light
and happiness within.
I welcome you,
with an open heart
chasing you is a work of art
and this is just the start.
This is just the beginning,
keep on winning,
refrain from sinning.
No longer secret keeping,
be honest and open,
keep on hoping.
Fight for your life,
no more strife.
You can see the shame,
as it swells,
don't sit and watch
as your progress fails.
Release your struggles,
don't stumble,
be humble.
Release what troubles
your body and mind,
put the past behind
and always be kind.
It may not be easy
to find the peace
within the pieces,
but let your light shine
and I promise you'll be fine.
Eternal sunshine,
will you be mine?
