Eternal Slumber

Eternal Slumber

The baby sleeps deep within
Knows not of the coming affair.
It dreams a dream never told
Beyond the homely lair.

Perfect, faultless every way
Having not an imperfection.
It slumbers ever through the day
Knowing no direction.

Peaceful, quiet far away
Nestled snug beyond this Earth.
Precious infant ever tiny
Will never know its worth.

Congratulations on your Win. I think God is a soul stealer. He takes babies sometimes because there souls are perfect no sin at all. Very well done

This poem is good enough to provoke anti-abortion activists. Good descriptiveness and rhyming.
