Eternal Is Love
There was a deep hole in my spirit
and I did not know how to fill it
Until I sat in your presence
I had not even known of its existence
Since that day I saw a ray
of sunshine in my spirit
I sought you out
as if you were water in a drought
and I was a farmer in his field
I had not noticed that I felt so alone
and stuck deep down low in my spirit
I sought your light to give my soul life
And then a strange thing happened
I felt a warmth that consumed my cold spirit
I then felt a love deeper than the space above
My Love, you then became my spirit
a living embodiment of that essence for me
A love so strong and powerful
allows for new boundaries to be set
and souls united behind the fire
of a love so ever glorious
This love takes me higher
Feels like it will mature and not expire
It feels like heaven on earth when she is in angel attire
a love even hotter than any type of flame or fire
And that is a love that will never die
a love so beautiful it causes you to cry
a love so pure that you can see in each eye
a love that will not fall even if you push and try
That love will never die
