ETERNAL    GRATITUDE


When you sought me out with comfort for my need,

And bound my wound where you saw it bleed,

Gave me  bread and wine  and invited me to feed,

Bought me out of bondage and  I was freed,

Then  I knew you were my friend indeed.

Syd, this poem of faith is spiritually uplifting. Really enjoyed and wish you success in the Golden Gratitude contest if this is an entry. Unfortunately, I was crying my heart out on the beach when I wrote "At the Edge." I saw the boat go by and wished I were aboard. It's hard moving to a new place where you have no friends yet and travel a lot. Love, Carolyn
