In gardens, 'neath a moon's enchanting gaze, A flower strange, in blooms of odd array, Yet, in its form, my heart found gentle sway, A love that none but I could truly praise. Though others scoffed, rejecting petals *****, My love for you bloomed fierce, undaunted, strong, Each twist and turn, a melody, a song, A bond that time nor judgment could endear.
