Eternal Complaint

My mom's children numbered four, so, when she went to the grocery store, she filled the cart up and then some more, and complained to her friends in frustration - she'd paid twenty dollars (because of inflation) at the grocery store.

Oh my goodness, I remember those days and my parents comparing prices to when they were kids. I guess my grandkids will probably say "Wow! You only had to pay $4.00 for a loaf of bread? So inexpensive! Now it's $50 a loaf!!" It honestly wouldn't surprise me too much!
