Eternal

Through the mist of night and days deception
I patiently await your light from the shore
Calling me to you from my westward direction
I wish to see your lands with you and explore

Our time will be well spent, as ours to own
Nights will be eternal, so long not to part
The size of our hearts will truly have grown
A life of no ending is about now, to start

With salty sprays and breezes upon our brows
Our eyes never parting from the other’s gaze
So long as our time is our friend and allows
We’ll be celebrating our love, for day upon day
