This, Carolyn, is exactly what happens during the holiday! People don't see their family, or any loved ones, but they are so caught up looking for something to buy! Do the kids suffer the most? I think so!! Awesome job!!

Like it, love it, we need some more of it. Truly the essence has been lost. Blessed be those who give up to give out. Pray for the homeless this Christmas season, and of course pray that we will get back to the true essence of the holidays. Great poem as always Mrs. Carolyn.

Despite commercialization, I still get a warm feeling at Christmas time. "Peace and love permeate the atmosphere, even in the crowded mall. I really do believe. LUck in the contest. Love, daver

Lovely write, my friend. My gran always said, 'Christmas is too commercial these days.' I'm beginning to see what she meant...
