Escaping Hysteria
Escaping Hysteria
Ashes remain after a burning fire that has raged and waned.
A phoenix lifts his heavy head to view the hysteria.
Apologies are desired but never come at the right time.
Alive and awake is a yearning to escape this state of dementia.
Away from these tragic and blackened grounds he glides.
Aloof he is from the ties that bound him to this utopia.
A new day in a bright land his senses are heightened and his hopes are rekindled.
Awakening his sense of self, he has ended his darkest days of insomnia.
