Escape

a cloud drifted slowly by my window today just where it was heading I did not know and my spirit vaulted onto that billowing white pillow as it had decided it so wished to go the soaring heights I did achieve the thrill of having not one single care an escape from a frenzied reality how I so longed to remain suspended there yet I glanced back to from where it is I came as the horizon began to disappear and my spirit sighed a deep long breath and in a moment I was back to here the delight this jaunt provided me was a moment I now share with you for it was a restorative experience and something you may also wish to do and maybe someday again soon my friend I will leap up to the sky and see you riding on the same cloud I choose and have you set out for a short journey with me
