The prison is locked in, forlorn and deep But he has promises to keep Tormented with nightmares, he never sleeps Revenge is a promise, a man should keep He rises from his cursed bed With thoughts of exodus in his head A flash of rage, and he sees red Without a hesitate He broke and fled Gambling over deadly high gate A resentful rapscallion once trapped in Whilst now fleeing --the fenced coffin

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
