Escape

Escape

I want to escape here,
and not care to look back.
To where I’m truly known,
and free to be, me.

I want to get away,
and walk out like a boss.
To somewhere prepared for me;
a place that is my home.

There is a river there;
it flows out from God’s Throne.
I have a mansion there;
a hut to call my own

But, where, when and how to go?
Some day He will let me know.
