Erosion

Time weighs heavily
on us
    We wait with bated breath
for the end
   Gravity is constantly
pulling our fragile forms down
  Life is no easy game
It is a battle!
One in which there is no real winner
Cast your bread onto the waters
See what time has in store for you
The years pass by - calendar real
The turn of a page
A new day is born
Fight the erosion with all your might !
Let your song echo in the woods and in the canyons
of the metropolis
A victory is impossible
But if you try hard enough
  Then you will gain the
  respect of your fellow travelers
  on this solar boat

A great analogy for getting old. The years do pass by fast. Time does not stop for anyone, better live each moment to the fullest. But do we waited for the end with baited breath? I know I don't wait for the end, I prefer do the living, and I know living never stops, even after time has run out. But I enjoyed your write and the way you expressed yourself. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your comments on mine. I don't know if you know but I sent you a soupmail a while back. Love and peace, Caroline.
