Eraser
Mom, you were my eraser
For a long long time you see
For my life you were a pacer
You thought you protected me
But I couldn't learn mom
Not with you around
And I'm waiting for the day I'm gone
The church bells will continually sound
Because I couldn't control the sweeping away
The constant forgetting of what occurred
So stop erasing mom, today
Or this will be my final word
I don't want to forget it, not anymore
And I leave you with a choice
My life is the paper in which you tore
And my world was controlled by your voice
So stop erasing, remembering is good!
It's what makes us who we are
And if you continue you've taught me to,
Forget you in my life so far
