Erase

I loved you, more than you had ever known,
you destroyed me, filled with hate,
I loathed myself and you loved every bit,
I've gone now, moved on ahead,
but every word you say still circles in my head,
my heart aches at every line,
if I could, Id go back and erase us from time.

I understand that train of thought, Jay but you should be thankful. He has taught you a valuable lesson. Love at first sight is rare. Love is something two people build together. The slower you build, the longer it lasts. I enjoyed your poem:)
