Erase

Erase

I watched the movie Ground Hog Day,
  And started to think.
  Could it be possible to
  Erase the black ink?
Of the words that are written,
  That tells of our life.
  All the worries, and heartaches
  the wrong turns, our strife?
Just how would I change it?
I know free will is a present,
but if used the wrong way,
  Can open up doors
  That led you astray.
  If I could start over
  Here’s what I’d do.
  I’d walk closer to Jesus
  In all that I do.
  I’d ask him for guidance
  In all of my tasks.
  And wait on his answers
  Instead of charging in fast.
  My life would have purpose,
I’d find a love strong and true.
Live life to the up most
  As he’d have me do.
