Epitaph
What will be said of me
When I'm dead and gone? What will people remember me by? Will they speak good of me? Or evil?
I think not! I have always lived right
And just.
Helping both friends and strangers
Giving comfort, providing solace Tried all that is humanly possible
To be my brother's keeper
I speak evil of no man
Or woman... or child
I watch and pray
Five times a day Surely, people must miss me
When I'm dead and gone
Surely, I will be remembered! A satisfying smile
Then, a thought! Why dwell 'pon this? In time, they will join you
That would bother to remember you!
