Epistles

In the quiet morning light,
words whisper on the page,
like the fishing line casting,
out towards the sea's edge.

Poetry is an art of simplicity,
where every word is a sentence,
and every pause a reflection,
of the human experience.

The epistles of verse,
echoing through the ages,
the rhythm of life captured,
in the brevity of concise stages.

A very nice perspective of our lovely poetry form. Words have meaning, sometimes more than one. Thank you for these precious thoughts.
