Epiphany
Epiphany Poetry Contest- Sponsored by Constance La France
As I sat staring at the stars and moon from my backyard gazebo
Looking up at the sky I started thinking just how small I really was
Those tiny sparkling bright white dots in the sky, so many, so big
There has to be life out there, I say to myself
Twinkle, twinkle little star- is there life there where you are
As the hours passed and the clock spun early, the sun whispered...
good morning little stars, kiss the moon a good day- will you
And then I thought- epiphany, there is life out there
I know, because the sun told me so
