Epilogue

I know you need some time to think,
don't take too long, don't even blink.

I can't blame you if you're confused,
sometimes I too feel so used.

Like I'm being toyed with,
another one of those relationship myths.

I don't know if it's on purpose or with bad intent, vengeance is part of life's lament.

All I know is patience and hope,
drawing out my day trying to cope.

Not seeing the ones I love every day,
hurts deep inside in a knife stabbing way.

You are not dead to me, I want you to know, my love for you can only grow.
