Ephemeral Essence

listless last mile
fading into obscurity 
beyond the twilight zone 
in ambiguous pathway
                       amalgamated 
seeks configured definition 
in mystique metaphor 
to morph momentarily 
into penumbra of panorama 
in kaleidoscopic winsome montage 
of enticing mirage
                       fervent 

transient tableau
of euphoric lattice
of esoteric exuberance
weaved engagingly 
by sensuous stream 
of cadenced ardent zephyr 
the swirling sagacity 
of mesmeric menagerie 
on an en echelon flight 
                       furtive
of designed delight
choreographed by cloud clumps
in scarlet sunset sky 
where harmonic hue echoes 
the song of silence 
turning to tranquil melody  
of stimulant spirit 
for formless façades 
of enraptured life  
                      unlived
in cascading crescendo 
of symphony of emotion
as ecstatic fervor flows 
                      entranced
in stream of sonata
sculpting on mindscape 
pageant of immutable images 
of timeless acuity 
                      actuated
where faceless people 
turn to shadows
their ephemeral essence
of sequestered silhouettes
conducts symphony of memory 
resonating music of life
                      nostalgic
