Ephemeral Echoes
Here you are ending so fast
with a yesterday so vast
like a season unforecast!
You came with your own kind of splendour
portraying each day like the goods of a market vendor
and who can deny you’re now at the door!
The events you call
were mysteries in all
and we couldn’t just stand and fall
But to fight and stand as a hall
As we pray, you don’t halt
