Envy
Often have I envied the vagabond
The wandering free of liberty
Responsibilities forgotten
Afoot upon the open road
Singing for supper
Dalliance for a bed
Following the wayward
Leading the way
Unbound untied
Stopping to replenish
But always is
The Road
Whilst I do sit and strive
To support and raise
A family of wishers
Who look down roads
As yet do I
Often have I envied the vagabond
As does he
Me
