Envision It.

In a hollow home
On a dark dark night
Something came to roam
In the glimpse of light
Each step taunting
Testing my senses
Pitch black ever haunting
What are my defences?
A knife shines to the right
My chest in my hand
I straighten my sight
Just a knife on the stand
The stairs now twisting
So was my mind
"this is more than a feeling"
I hear something...... Behind.....
A voice of coarse nature
Called down the hall
Slurrs of ancient lost scripture
I then drifted into a fall
Deep space took ahold
It had something to say
After what it had told
Life was never the same
From that day on
the hole world was anew
We are really all gone
There is no me and you
Just strains of existence
And every strain ends
Across a great distance
Through Time and far lands
How I long to be.....,
At the tip of the universe
