Envious Hearts

Envious hearts would never be lovers of truth and justice but devotees to falsehood and injustice!* (c) Demetrios Trifiatis 04 June 2016 * Today I received a soup mail from someone who never visits me, accusing me of supporting someone who harasses ladies and gentlemen alike! I would never commit injustice against anyone! I only comment on the poem written ignoring why the poem is written. Sometimes poems are fictitious. It is impossible to know what is in the mind of the writer since there are no names of the supposed victim! I DECLARE THAT NEVER SUPPORTED OR WILL I SUPPORT ANY INJUSTICE and would like to let this person know that I am a free man and an honest one! It is better for the author of that soup mail not to try to turn one person against the other. Here we are not to divide people but to unite them! At least I AM DOING IT IN PRACTICE. God bless him who sent me the message and may he sees the light and stop creating groups to fight one against the other so as for him to reign! I also ask all our soupers to work in harmony for we suppose to be poets inspired by God and since GOD IS LOVE let us LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

I cannot believe you honored this person with a response, you are way too spiritually evolved; however, I suspect the injustice of it all is what ultimately rallied you to write. You know that what other people say to you or do to you, is completely about them (their nature, circumstances, beliefs, ignorances, egos, etc.) and has very little, if nothing, to do with you. As for your write, an envious heart is a weak and insecure heart that will gladly be soothed by falsehoods and injustice.

Dearest CayCay, how wonderful to see you here at this hour. Well, you a spiritual person, I think, understands better a situation like this. The person in question I knew he made a mistake and wished to make him understand it. HE DID! If I had not "honored" him with a response we would not have resolved the situation and the fight and bitterness would have lingered. Now is resolved! Thank you so very much!

I was shocked but now I am elated for our fellow poet has shown his magnanimity: He apologized fact that proves he is a great man, close to God! Let us be united and give an example of the goodness we write in our poems. Let us love one another! Thank you my friend, Anne-Lise!

I've seen this happen on other poetry forums,but I thought that Soup was untainted, and imagine my shock when I heard this unfortunate incident happened to our most loved, senior and a virtuous member. I urge all the other members to please ignore such mails if they receive one. Regarding the poem,I think no one could have said this better.A glorious message Sir.

It's true, envy and jealousy are seldom lovers of truth. Good poem, Demetrios. Regarding your statement, I'm glad you do not buy into the gossip and rumors. Unless it comes from the source, from the person being harassed, it is nothing but a rumor. You are a man of Godly character, you show this by your words and actions, and it's a great example to all of us. Hugs

You are God sent my dearest, Becca! Imagine my surprise to receive such a message by someone who never visits me, expressing "deep surprise" that I support people who harass others! I forgive that person for he seems to put his self-interest above the common good which is the harmonious collaboration and coexistence of our poetic family under the auspices of our Lord! Thank you so much for your gracious comment! God bless you! I do not wish to publish the message received or the author of the message! If however anyone doubts then he/she will have the answer!
