Entry's Prologue

prologue's entry

it’s as ancient as
the salt missing
in the dead sea
it doesn’t hold
that essence
in its tears

it looks over
its dominion

the souls
kissing its feet
entry point
found in the cracks of
over zealous blowing
their self-righteousness

stood on
soap boxes
they know better
let them speak
watch them
war with each other

it swallows opines
it feeds

prologue’s entry
it never leaves

it watches
the eyes of others
windows open
virtuous with bravado
pushed to believe
only when they are on their knees

when the truth monster
struts in
shutters close
not so brave
to defend, to endure
what they speak

it thinks
it waits

Prologue's entry?
it never left,
it never sleeps

Prologue's entry
Entry's prologue

as above,
so below
it watches them
in mirrors
invisible,
yet seen

soon
to be believed
it reads them,
like the other
it knows
them all

soon
to be believed

"what's inside them?
is it made of strength?
unbreakable?"

like a Vampire
it will impress promises
seduce them with
safety in its arms
it felicitates its
kind of freedom

"what's inside them?
is it made of strength?
unbreakable?"
stood on their
soap boxes, towers
the same as rosaries

soon
to be believed

"" when the truth monster struts in shutters close not so brave to defend, to endure what they speak"" Humanity lives within its state of blindness. That blindness is self-imposed by the flesh, the idea of self, imho. And of course, our proclivity to reject morality and then so stubbornly go our own way. A fav. God bless...

At some point, all theories will be put to the test. Many stand on their soap boxes and sprout their religious beliefs, their political beliefs, their personal beliefs. (I am no exception to that illustrious group). I do believe we are all moving towards the point where we will all be confronted to deliver the courage and conviction of our beliefs, and/or face the reality that is culminating to a climax on the WWWIII front, as well as religious and humanity. One could consider this poem is about overcoming/overpowering the Dark. Having the strength and courage to stand firm with The Light, no matter what the perceived cost.

"The Dead Sea is referred to in the Bible as the “Salt Sea” and has also been called the Sea of Sodom, the Sea of Lot and the Stinking Sea because of the rotten egg odor created by the sulphur in the water."

"The sea does not play a major role in the Bible but is referred to in Chronicles II 20 and in Ezekiel. Ezekiel predicted that the Salt Sea would one day flow with fresh water and fishermen would be able to cast their nets from shore. Along the shore of the sea are several Biblical locations: the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, the desert wilderness where David took refuge and the Biblical city of Jericho lies not far to the northeast of the Dead Sea."

"When contradictory facts move into close juxtaposition, one of two things happens. If one fact proves wrong, then that's that. But sometimes the contradiction harbors two totally different faces of the same deeper truth. The opposing forces both gain in validity as they converge, and, finally, the universe changes."
